Human beings crave affection; it’s in our nature. We want to give and receive an abundance of love. Because of this innate desire, you may unintentionally go after the wrong type of man. If you find that the guy you’re currently interested in does the following five things, you might want to consider staying single until you find the one who truly suits you.

He’s everywhere you are … literally everywhere
It’s one of the best feelings in the world to know that someone has your back. However, there’s a fine line between being caring and being smothering. If your partner is drunkenly meandering along this line, you might be better off without them. Personal space is one of the most important aspects of a healthy relationship. If he doesn’t respect your boundaries from the beginning, there’s a good chance he won’t respect them in the future.

He’s there, but not really
If you don’t know the color of his eyes because he’s always staring at his phone screen, then that’s a problem. Be with someone who focuses on you. If he’s not giving you his undivided attention, you’re better off waiting for the one who will.

He keeps your relationship under wraps
If he gets weird when you ask him about his friends or if he doesn’t want you to meet them at all, take a second to reevaluate your decision to be involved with him. You should be with someone who wants to introduce you to the important people in his life. It shows he cares about you and values you enough to show other people how he feels.

He’s arrives at the 11th hour on dates
I am far from being the most punctual person. Very far. BUT, if you notice yourself waiting for extended periods of time for him to show up on numerous occasions, it shows that he doesn’t respect your time. It’s only if this is constant that you should consider ending things.

He doesn’t accept you for you
This is my number one rule. If you’re thinking of getting involved with someone who makes you feel as though you have to change who you are, drop them. If he can’t see the star you are, don’t waste another second of your precious time on him.
