I’ve had such bad days that made me wonder if life was even worth living.
But, when I say that I’m grateful to you for all the bad days and experiences, it’s not my intention to be sarcastic.
Because over the years I’ve realized that those bad days are just normal days. It is the way we perceive them that makes them bad.
Because we focus on the negative things on that day and we fail to see the good ones. We focus on our missed opportunities, failures, heartbreaks, and losses and we forget to appreciate and be grateful for our successes. We forget to appreciate the people who truly love and care about us.
So, thank you for all the bad days since they aren’t a curse. Instead, they’re a blessing. They’re valuable lessons that we need to learn so as to become stronger, wiser, and more resilient. They’re valuable lessons that we need to learn so as to become who we are meant to be.
I know you’ll never make me deal with more sadness or pain than I can handle. You’ll never make me face more problems than I can solve. You’ll never make me fight battles which I can’t win. You’ll never let me lose my sense of self-worth. You’ll never let me lose myself.
